The name Luxe Liliko’i is derived from the inspiration of the liliko’i fruit. The liliko’i fruit is a yellow passionfruit originally from South America which was eventually brought to Hawai'i. It's versatility, durability, beauty, and other name of "passionfruit" gave us the idea to name our brand after it.
Our goal is to combine all the elements of our passions - nature, athletics, women empowerment, and self-love - into the pieces we create for our consumers. Just as the liliko'i is versatile in so many ways, we hope to include a variety of versatile pieces that any woman would feel confident wearing. Women empowerment and self-love go hand and hand; as we lift up ourselves, we can lift up other women as well!
Trinity is currently about to graduate from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, hoping to care for mamas, babies, and keiki. She loves living an active, outdoor lifestyle, and the beach is her home. Aside from creating bikinis, she loves to surf and dance Hula and Tahitian (previously with Kawailehua Hula Ohana in Milpitas, California & currently with Hiva Katoa in San Diego, California). Her two partners are Megan and Jacqui.
Megan graduated from St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga, California with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. On top of making bikinis, Megan works at a biotech company and is also a full-time plant mom. She stays fit and active by running and working out, and she loves everything nature, especially the beach. Megan also builds and refurbishes many things! Megan and Trinity are best friends from birth, cousins by blood, and partners in crime.
Jacqui is currently about to graduate from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She's an inspirational boss babe that's also the life of the party. When she isn't helping design bikinis, working, or exploring the city, Jacqui loves to stay active by working out, surfing, and playing volleyball. She grew up on both the East and West Coasts, but she holds a special place in her heart for Hawai'i where she visits her family every year. Jacqui and Trinity are best friends from high school and are like long lost sisters.
